He started also using this skills to trap lost and stray dogs on the UK mainland with great success. He reunited over 300 dogs with their owners. These skills did lead to joining a Spanish Charity Project to trap and capture Spanish Podencos. After returning to the UK he shared his trapping skills with a group of likeminded people that set their skills to reunite dog owners with their dogs to this date.
The trapping of dogs did lead Andy to gaining more skills how dogs use their natural trailing abilities to avoid traps and he tried to learn more about how dogs scent discriminate and how to use the natural abilities.
Andy has a great skill level in dog behaviour and dog training, and has been awarded Skills for Justice Trailing Dog Handler Qualification and having trained a large number of Trailing Dog Team, Andy has great skills and expertise in instructing.
